TAV Airports co-founder Sani Şener is stepping down from management. Mustafa Sani Şener, one of the founding partners of TAV Airports, is leaving his position as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors as of May 1, 2024. Şener will continue his professional career as the Chairman of the Board of TAV Construction.
Mustafa Sani Şener is leaving his position at TAV Airports, where he served as CEO for 25 years and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the last two years.
Sani Şener, Vice Chairman of the Board of TAV Airports, stated: “TAV Airports, which has become a global brand in the past 27 years since the start of the Istanbul Atatürk Airport build-operate-transfer project in 1997, is one of the world’s leading airport operators today.
After leaving the position of CEO, which I held for 25 years at TAV Airports, and completing the two-year transition period as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, I am confident that with the knowledge, experience, and diligence of the management team at TAV Airports, the company will achieve even greater success.

As of May 1, 2024, while leaving my role in the management of TAV Airports, I will continue to remain a partner in the company.
