As one of the strongest representatives of the international financial system and investment banking in Turkey, Doğan Investment Bank successfully progressed in line with its strategic goals and achieved a net profit of TL 428 million in 2023. In 2023, return on average equity and return on average assets were realized as 84.1% and 20.3%, respectively. The Bank's shareholders' equity, which was TL 246 million at the end of 2022, tripled to TL 712 million at the end of 2023. The Bank's capital adequacy ratio was realized as 22.9%.

Doğan Investment Bank announced its financial results for 2023. In 2023, the Bank crowned its support to the Turkish economy with prestigious transactions, many of which were firsts, and stood out among the banks with the highest return on equity in the sector.

As one of the strongest representatives of the international financial system and investment banking in Turkey, Doğan Investment Bank successfully progressed in line with its strategic goals and achieved a net profit of TL 428 million in 2023. In 2023, return on average equity and return on average assets were realized as 84.1% and 20.3%, respectively. The Bank’s shareholders’ equity, which was TL 246 million at the end of 2022, tripled to TL 712 million at the end of 2023. The Bank’s capital adequacy ratio was realized as 22.9%.

Doğan Investment Bank set out with the vision of becoming the leading regional investment bank supporting Turkey’s economic progress. In 2023, Doğan Investment Bank diversified the banking and capital markets products offered to its clients and brought new resources to the Turkish economy. Last year, Doğan Investment Bank intermediated a total of 36 bond issuances on behalf of its clients. In addition, Doğan Investment Bank completed its efforts and official approvals for the establishment of an asset leasing company, the shares of which will be wholly owned by Doğan Investment Bank, in order to take part in lease certificate issuances.

Doğan Investment Bank demonstrated a very strong financial performance in 2023 with the rate of increase in its asset size and strong profitability levels. The Bank’s asset size grew 2.5 times compared to year-end 2022, reaching TL 3 billion. Cash loan volume, which constitutes 56% of total assets, increased by 160% compared to the end of the previous year and reached TL 1.7 billion.

Received awards for successful works

Doğan Investment Bank received the “Best Investment Bank in Turkey” award for its successful activities in 2023 at the “Bonds, Loans and ESG Capital Markets CEE, CIS and Turkey” awards given by “Bonds, Loans and ESG Capital Markets CEE, CIS and Turkey”, which recognizes the most successful and reputable institutions in the finance sector in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Turkey.

Doğan Investment Bank acted as the exclusive advisor to the seller in the sale of Aytemiz Akaryakıt Dağıtım A.Ş. to PJSC Tatneft at a value of USD 336 million. With this transaction, Doğan Investment Bank received the “Best M&A Deal in Turkey” award at the “International Finance Awards 2023” organized by International Finance magazine, one of the UK’s leading finance and business publications.
