DEDEMAN 2024 TARGET IS 2.5 MILLION GUESTS

Making the opening speech at the press conference held at Dedeman Istanbul, Banu Dedeman, one of the partners of Dedeman Holding, announced that the management change, which is one of the most important parts of the new period strategy, has been realized and Ergün Demiray, one of the experienced names in the sector, has become the Chairman of the Board of Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International. Banu Dedeman stated that she and her brother Rıfat Dedeman will now serve as members of the board of directors and said, "Dedeman brand will continue to serve under the management of Ergün Demiray. My son Murat Özmestçi will serve as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. I am confident that these two names will achieve great success."

With a 58-year history, Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International announced the breakthrough and change processes that started this year at a press conference. At the meeting, Ergün Demiray, the new Chairman of Dedeman Tourism Management, came together with the press members for the first time and shared details about the process.

Making the opening speech at the press conference held at Dedeman Istanbul, Banu Dedeman, one of the partners of Dedeman Holding, announced that the management change, which is one of the most important parts of the new period strategy, has been realized and Ergün Demiray, one of the experienced names in the sector, has become the Chairman of the Board of Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International. Banu Dedeman stated that she and her brother Rıfat Dedeman will now serve as members of the board of directors and said, “Dedeman brand will continue to serve under the management of Ergün Demiray. My son Murat Özmestçi will serve as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. I am confident that these two names will achieve great success.”

Ergün Demiray, who took over as the Chairman of the Board of Directors from Banu Dedeman, stated that the Dedeman brand is among the most important brands in Turkey and that they will achieve an exemplary result in terms of growth and change with the projects they started in 2024. Demiray said, “Today, we serve with a total of 9 main brands, 29 open for service and 24 signed projects, a total of 53 hotels and approximately 1700 employees. By the end of 2025, we aim to increase the number of hotels open for service and signed projects to 100 and the number of countries we serve to 10. Our year-end target is to host 2.5 million guests with our new hotels joining our brand.”

“Our goal is to be everyone’s Dedeman…”
Ergün Demiray stated that they have 9 brands in different categories, meeting different needs, but in all of them, guests will have an extremely positive experience and continued his words as follows; “The Dedeman brand promises a structure where investors will deliver their projects with peace of mind, employees will work peacefully and with pleasure, and guests will have extremely positive experiences within the concepts of comfort and comfort. Today, as Turkey’s largest domestic hotel brand, we want to be wherever Turkish Airlines flies. We are moving forward with our vision to adapt to investor proposals from all over Turkey and the world.

“We started 2024 with 2 hotel openings and 6 new projects”

Stating that they made a rapid entry into 2024 within the scope of their growth strategy, Ergün Demiray said, “At the beginning of the year, we opened Almaty and Karabük hotels. In January, we signed our Sapanca hotel, and in early February we signed our Çanakkale and Istranca (Kırklareli) hotels. On February 15th, we said ‘3 signatures in one day’ and signed the franchise agreements for Baku, Batman and Kemer. Park Dedeman Baku has a special importance as it is our fourth hotel abroad. The Mesopotomia Managed by Dedeman in Batman will be the third hotel of our ‘Managed by Dedeman’ brand. We will fly our flag again in Antalya with Dedeman Kemer Resort.”

“Dedeman Loyal Club is an experience program”

Stating that campaigns that provide important privileges are prepared as a brand that appeals to everyone, Demiray said, “We are taking Dedeman Loyal Club beyond a loyalty program. Our goal is to create an ecosystem that our guests are proud to be a member of, constantly renewed and offering unique opportunities. As of March 1, 2024, we will offer 25% discount for Public Personnel and Journalists who are Loyal Club members, free of charge for ages 0-12, 30% discount for ages 12-20, and 20% discount for ages 20-30.”

“Dedeman Academy will Add Value to the Tourism Sector”
Ergün Demiray stated that Dedeman Academy, which is among the new term projects, will meet the training needs of thousands of team members and said, “Dedeman Academy project, which is implemented for talented and enthusiastic employees who are committed to brand values, will offer a direct solution to the sector’s need for qualified personnel. We will offer special training and career opportunities to young people interested in the sector. At the same time, we will open new doors for young talents with network, internship and job opportunities. Dedeman Academy will add value to the tourism sector.”

Murat Özmestçi, Deputy Chairman of Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International, who took his place in the management team as the 4th generation representative of the Dedeman family, said, “I am very proud to be at the management of the Dedeman brand. As the 4th generation, it is one of my greatest responsibilities to continue the principles and principles passed on to us by our founder, my great grandfather, the late Mehmet Kemal Dedeman, and the vision of my grandfather, the late Murat Dedeman.
